His Legacy… Michael Clyde Lee, 77, passed away June 6, 2025. Born on September 14, 1947, in Lansing, Michigan, to Robert and Betty (Hetterly) Lee, Mike grew up in the lively town of Grand Ledge, MI. He spent his childhood surrounded by his loving sisters, Bobby Jo, Nancy, Becky, and Laurie, as well as a large network of cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Later, he moved to the Ann Arbor area, where he dedicated his life to raising his family. With immense pride in his children and grandchildren—whom he fondly referred to as his "greatest accomplishments"—Mike offered them endless wisdom, support, and a compassionate listening ear.
Mike possessed an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor, endearing him to all who crossed his path. His warmth and gregarious nature allowed him to forge connections with just about anyone he met.
A man of many talents, Mike was filled with knowledge from his varied life experiences. Whether working on his family's farm, engaging in woodworking, and painting, or building subcontracting, he could seemingly fix or build anything. Passionate about music, arts and crafts, and sports—especially high school athletics—Mike’s enthusiasm was contagious.
He will be remembered for the love he shared with his friends and family. If you knew Mike, you felt genuinely loved by him.
