His Legacy… Michael Rogers, 65, passed away on March 12, 2026. He was born on January 29, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, to Ralph Rogers and Barbara (Tune) Rogers. Michael will be remembered for his gift of humor, his hardworking nature, and his spirited “firecracker” personality that brought energy and laughter to those around him. He proudly served his country for 14 years in the Marines and the Army National Guard, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and pride in service.
In his free time, Michael had a deep interest in pig farming and enjoyed attending fairs and festivals whenever he could. An avid sports fan, he cheered on his favorite Detroit teams and loved to watch Michigan State sports. He also liked spending time at the casino and sharing good moments with friends and family. Above all, Michael cherished his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and extended family, who brought him great pride and joy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family… Michael will be missed by his spouse, Maria Rogers; his son, Brandon Rogers; life partner, Luzette Anderson; extended family, Roy (Jessica) Anderson, Stephanie (Joey) Boyle; grandchildren, Noah, Olivia, Ada-Jane, Andrew, Malaya, JB; nieces and nephews, Eric, Corey, Tina, Katie, Jennifer, Sarah, Matthew. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Barbara Rogers; Siblings, Ronald Rogers, and Janice Wenk.
