His Legacy… Michael John Stankov, 74, passed away June 8, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan to Nick Stankov and Virginia (Stafiej) Stankov. Mike married the love of his life, Christine Dulimba, May 4, 1974, in Allen Park, Michigan. Mike spent his career as a salesman and traveled frequently for work; visiting every continent, apart from Antarctica. Mike enjoyed golfing and was an avid card player. He loved history and was especially interested in World War II. Mike hated snow with the white hot intensity of a million suns and kept a winter home in Naples, Florida. He had a gruff exterior, but he had a heart of gold. Mike took great joy in coaching his sons little league teams when they were young. His family meant everything to him and he adored his grandchildren. Mike was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Mike will be missed by his wife, Christine Stankov; his children, Kelly (Kevin) DeHority, Nick (Sandy) Stankov, Rich (Tonya) Stankov; sister, Debbie (John) Mayland; and grandchildren, Ren, Rowan, Sophia, Brielle, Logan, and Hunter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Virginia Stankov.
