On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, Michael (Mike) Alan Traub went to be with Jesus at the age of 50. The world has lost a great husband, father, son, and friend. Mike was born in Livonia, Michigan, on October 23rd, 1970, to Daniel and Carolyn Traub. He leaves behind his wife (Jennifer), two children (Alex and Madelyn-Grace), and many extended family members and friends that he loved and cared about. He was a Christian and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a young age.

Since childhood, Mike held a passion for the outdoors. Mike would spend his days hunting, fishing, and cruising the waterways in his Bass Tracker fishing boat. He was a compassionate and kind person, beloved by his colleagues at Costco, where he worked for the past 18 years. If you asked Mike what his greatest accomplishment in life was, he would have told you it was being a father and a husband. Mike and Jennifer have been married for more than 28 years. They raised two loving children and built a wonderful life together. Mike will always be remembered for his genuine kindness, gentle nature, and willingness to lend a hand to whoever needed it. He will be greatly missed.

If you would like to join in celebrating his life, there will be a memorial service held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Cornerstone EPC Church, located at 9455 Hilton Rd, Brighton, MI 48114. Visitation starts at 5pm, service begins at 6 pm. A light meal will be provided after the service. Any family and friends are welcome to join.
