Her Legacy… Myrna Lee Phillips, age 64, passed away March 21, 2024. She was born on August 23, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan to James Williams and Rose (Jarrett) Williams. Myrna married the love of her life, Donald Phillips on September 23, 1978, in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. She will be remembered as a super sweet, loving and caring mother and grandmother.  Everyone who met her instantly adored her. She was very outgoing and made friends wherever she went. Myrna was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed the simple things in life and loved animals, especially dogs.

Her Family… Myrna leaves behind her husband, Donald; children, Renee (Ted) Durandetto, Kris (Maria) Phillips; and grandchildren, Colin, Cole, Marisa. She is also survived by her sister, Connie Opperman; brother-in-laws, Gary (Mary) Phillips, Denny Phillips; and many nieces and nephews. Myrna is preceded in death by her parents, James and Rose Williams: her in-laws, Paul and Thelma Phillips; sister-in-law, Laura Carpa, her brother-in-laws, Jeff Phillips and Paul Phillips.

Her Farewell… Myrna’s family and friends will gather on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel, with a Community Farewell at 4:00 PM with a dinner to follow.
