Nadine Louise (Talada) Russell

Nadine Louise Russell, 79, of Whitmore Lake passed away peacefully in her home of natural causes surrounded by her family and loved ones and went to be with the Lord on August 23rd. Nadine grew up in Vestal New York and after graduating from Vestal Central High School in 1960 and attending Hougton University Christian College in Houghton NY, Nadine moved to Ann Arbor Michigan to work & eventually retire from the printing industry. She met her sweetheart, Bob, in Whitmore Lake in 1969 and they were happily married for almost 50 years. 

 Nadine was predeceased by her adoring husband Robert and mother & father Helene & John Talada. She is survived by her daughters Sandra Salter (Thomas), Kathleen Bisard, Ellisha Greenfield, son Mark Cooper (Julie), brother Lowell (Marge) Talada, cousins Elaine Sheridan and Marlene Zimmer and many grandchildren and great grandchildren and her beloved Pomeranians Benny & Barney. 

 Nadine had many hobbies that she enjoyed throughout her life. She loved to garden and had the most beautiful flowers in town. Nadine was also a master knitter and loved to knit a variety of different creations to give them as gifts to her family and friends. She was also a great lover of Pomeranians and over her lifetime always had several dogs by her side. Nadine was an amazing cook and whenever there was a family gathering you could always count on her bringing a delicious dish to pass or to whip up a feast at the family holidays. She spent hours pouring over magazines to find the best recipes to prepare for Bob and her family. Nadine and Bob spent many of their winters in their Florida home in North Fort Myers where they enjoyed spending time with their snowbird friends, playing cards and lounging by the pool. 

 Please join us in celebrating her life at Borek Jennings Funeral Home (7425 M-36, Hamburg, MI 48139) at the viewing on Saturday 9:30am - 11am. The Memorial service will be held at Borek Jennings at 11am with the Graveside service immediately after. The Memorial service will also be streamed Live on Borek Jennings Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/borekjennings/
