Nancy Lee (Weatherbee) Lewis

Her Legacy… Nancy Lee Lewis, 82, passed away April 14, 2025. She was born on December 6, 1942, in Muskegon, Michigan to Douglas Weatherbee and Maxine (Nelson) Weatherbee. Nancy married the love of her life, Robert Lewis, on September 20, 1980, in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Nancy was a dedicated registered nurse and was incredibly smart. Nancy had a strong work ethic and was the Assistant Director of Nursing at Northville State Hospital. If she didn’t have the answer to something, she would research it until she found the answer. After retiring, Nancy traveled all over lower Michigan conducting immunization clinics for U of M Visiting Nurses. She was a bundle of energy and always on the go. Nancy was very social and had many friends. She enjoyed golfing and achieved a hole-in-one on two separate occasions. Nancy and Robert loved traveling together, visiting Germany, Italy, and spending winters in Arizona. Nancy was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Her Family… Nancy will be mourned by her husband, Robert Lewis; her brothers, Tom Weatherbee, Dave (Sue) Weatherbee; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Maxine Weatherbee; and brother, Jim Weatherbee.

Her Farewell… Nancy’s family and friends will gather Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 11:00AM-1:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Community Farewell will follow at 1:00PM.
