His Legacy… Norbert Paul Weber, 72, passed away February 1, 2021. He was born on July 21, 1948, in Flensburg, Germany to Paul E. Weber and Gertrud A. (Brüningsen) Weber. Norbert married the love of his life, Christine (Bellair) Weber, on May 22, 1971, in Pinckney, Michigan at St. Mary Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Norbert enjoyed being active and spending time outdoors. He donated and volunteered his time to the Steam Railroad Institute for 30 plus years and was involved in the “Project 1225”. Norbert was a hands on dad who taught his son everything. Mostly, he loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
His Family… Norbert Paul Weber will be missed by his wife, Christine Weber; his son, Christopher (Amy) Weber, brother; Dieter Erich (Sara) Weber; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Brandon) Bollwahn, Parker J. Weber; great grandson, Dale Bollwahn. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Gertrud Weber.
His Farewell… Norbert’s family and friends will gather Friday, February 12, 2021 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Rev. Bill Donahue will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Howell Nature Center or Steam Railroading Institute.
