Her Legacy… Pamela Ann (Raber) Fritsch, 80, passed away May 21, 2026. She was born on May 28, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, to George Raber and Helen (Zanger) Raber. Pamela was married to her husband, Ludwig Fritsch Jr., on August 1, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered as a delightfully sassy and feisty woman who was full of life. Pamela was not one for stagnancy, spending much of her free time traveling, cruising, or spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her experience helped her to become quite a knowledgeable traveler - Pamela could always find her way around a cruise ship or airport, no matter the crowd.
During her time at home, you could find Pamela relaxing with some chocolate and a superhero movie - usually Thor. She also had a deep love for flowers, especially large hibiscuses and peonies. She loved to take in their beauty from a comfortable chair in the window. This affinity for nature was also seen in her adoration of animals (especially puppies).
Pamela was sweet, generous, and she never had a negative word to say about a soul. She accepted everyone and everything just as they came, no judgment. In her later years, Pamela’s love for her children spread to a new place: her grandchildren. One of her greatest joys was sitting with her family, sharing, listening, and laughing.
Most of all, Pamela will be remembered as she was on this past Easter, a wonderful day spent with her beloved family. Pamela shared an incredible time and meaningful with her children and grandkids, and radiated just as much love as she was surrounded by.
Her Family… Pamela will be missed by her children, Laura (David) Misevich, David Fritsch, Patti Smith; her brother, Dennis Raber; grandchildren, Samantha, Jamie, Patrick, Stephanie, & Stanley; and her niece, Nancy Fetty. She is preceded in death by her parents, George & Helen Raber, her husband, Ludwig Fritsch Jr.; son-in-law Steve Smith; brother Don Raber; and her nephew, Donnie Raber.
Her Farewell… Pamela’s family and friends will gather on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, 4:00PM-7:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home in Howell, Michigan. Gathering will continue on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 11:00AM, followed by her Community Farewell at 12:00PM. Chaplin DJ Reed will serve as celebrant.
