Her Legacy… Patricia Jenkinson, 70, passed away November 12, 2022.  She was born on July 19, 1952, in Howell, Michigan to Norman Van Blaircum and Rowena (Livrance) Van Blaircum. Patty married the love of her life, Daniel Jenkinson, on September 18, 1982, in Garden City, Michigan. Patty worked for many years in the building department at Salem Township and Lyon Township, retiring in 2017. Anyone that met Patty would say she was kind, caring, patient and strong. She loved to garden, golf, and in her youth, she loved horseback riding even though she had to wear a back brace for her scoliosis. Even though her scoliosis caused her great pain, she rarely complained. Patty loved crafts and had a craft room which she jokingly referred to as her “crap room” because she had so many supplies. She spent a lot of time scrapbooking, making birthday decorations for her grandkids, and sewing Halloween costumes. Patty enjoyed going to Nascar races, her favorite driver was Clint Bowyer because he had a Cheerio car, she faithfully had a bowl of Cheerios every morning. She loved country music, John Denver being her favorite, and her dogs. Patty was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  

Her Family… Patty will be missed by her husband, Daniel Jenkinson; her children, Madison (Stephen) Fentriss, Chelsea (Zach Mitchell) Jenkinson; sisters, Linda Van Blaircum, Norma (Michael) Ensign; grandchildren, Avery Fentriss, Evan Fentriss; nephew, Joey (Jessica) Levet; great-niece, Emilia Levet; great-nephew, Brantley Levet. She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Rowena Van Blaircum.  

Her Farewell… Patty’s family and friends will gather Friday, November 18, 2022, from 2:00PM-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Shelters Chapel. Her Community Farewell will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 10:30AM (9:30 gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Shelters Chapel.  Reverend Bill Donahue will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Huron Valley Humane Society or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
