Her Legacy… Patricia Kay Vaughn, 75, passed away October 9, 2025.  She was born on April 12, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan to Clarence Fagan and Evelyn (Jones) Fagan. Patricia married the love of her life, James Vaughn Sr., on May 16th, 1970, in Westland, MI. She will be remembered as a generous woman, who loved her family. Patricia loved to sew, was an excellent cook, and a spectacular host of people. Each year, for a decade, when she and James organized a golf outing, Patricia cooked and served food for about seventy people all by herself. Patricia worked as an office manager at an accounting firm, with many great stories of strange and interesting claims that she had handled. Patricia and James loved to go up to the Upper Peninsula; Eagle River, Copper Harbor, and Sand Bay. Both enjoyed driving up Brockway Mountain to see the sunset, only to drive back to Eagle River and see it again. Patricia will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

Her Family… Patricia will be missed by her husband, James Vaughn Sr.; her son, James (Jodi) Vaughn Jr.; siblings, Kathleen and Robert Fagan; grandchildren, Casey Vaughn, Jaime Vaughn, Laila Vaughn; cousins, Amy Kiedrowski and Dawn Weaver. She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Vaughn; her parents, Clarence and Evelyn Fagan; and some of her aunts and uncles.

Her Farewell… Patricia’s family and friends will gather Thursday, October 16th, 2025, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Hamburg, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Friday, October 17th, 2025, at 11:00 AM (Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM) Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
