Paul L. Heins

His Legacy… Paul Lionel Heins, age 91, passed away June 2, 2020. He was born on December 5, 1928, in Cohoes, New York. Paul married the love of his life, Claire Trombley, on May 13, 1950, in Cohoes, NY. He served his country in the Army. Paul enjoyed woodworking, golfing, and frequent traveling. He was a marathon runner. Paul was part of the Dad’s Club at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Paul retired from the gift packaging business, in 2019. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Paul will be missed by his wife of 70 years, Claire; children, Rick (Marilyn) Heins, Christine Thomas; daughter-in-law, Cindy Heins; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Lucille West, Raymond Heins, and Robert Heins. Paul is preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeff; and brother, Marcel.

His Farewell… Paul’s family farewell will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Family and friends will gather from 11- 1PM with a service at 1PM.
