Her Legacy… Peggy Kiernan, 84, passed away March 17, 2021.  She was born on March 11, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to Vincent Simon and Dorothy (Lauff) Simon. Peggy married the love of her life, John Edward Kiernan, on June 23, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  Peggy had a nurturing and giving heart.  She worked as a student support aide for Navigator School in Pinckney for 10 years.  Peggy always put everyone else’s needs before her own. She loved life and found joy in just about everything she did.  Her great sense of humor and positive outlook would always make people happy to be around her.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Peggy will be missed by her children, Michael (Jeannette) Kiernan, John (MaryBeth) Kiernan Jr.; grandchildren, Katie Kiernan, Alexis Kiernan, Olivia Kiernan, Conor Kiernan. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; John Kiernan and her parents; Vincent and Dorothy Simon.

Her Farewell… Peggy’s family and friends will gather Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 12:00-2:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel.
