His Legacy… Raymond “Bud” Compagnoni Jr., 90, passed away May 11, 2023. He was born on June 3, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan to Romolo Compagnoni and Rochelle (Dalton) Compagnoni. Raymond married the love of his life, Maxine Segrest, on February 17, 1951, in, Ferndale, Michigan. Raymond was a 22 year veteran of the Army National Guard. In between serving with them, he spent 25 years with Burton Brothers Restoration Company. Raymond was very artistic and an incredibly talented painter. He specialized in faux paintings. Raymond lovingly restored his 125 year old farmhouse, including the barns, and made it into a museum over the years. He enjoyed taking antique clock repair classes and was a member of the American Legion. Raymond was kind, gentle and a man of integrity. Raymond was always willing to help others and was very generous. He was a wonderful family man and will be dearly missed.
His Family… Raymond will be missed by his wife, Maxine Compagnoni; his children, Kathy Mellberg, Cindy (Kenneth) White; siblings, Carole (Bud) Bartlett, Danny (Barb) Compagnoni, Gina (Ron) Jenkins; grandchildren, Kristin White, Andrea (Nate) Baker, Alissa (Dennis) Vettese. He is preceded in death by his parents, Romolo and Rochelle Compagnoni; son, Nick Compagnoni, brothers, Bob and David; sisters, Sharon & Marion.
