His Legacy… Richard Michael Delauter, 61, passed away February 3, 2020.  He was born on November 22, 1958, in Flint, Michigan to David Wesley DeLauter and Mary Joan (Burlingame) DeLauter.   Richard will be remembered for loving his family life and spending time with his children.  He was very musically inclined and had a beautiful voice which lead him to singing in a rock band as a lead singer.  Richard also loved sports and was a high school athlete in which he played football in school.  He was also an avid cook and enjoyed cooking for his family.  He will be missed by all who knew him.   

His Family… Richard will be missed by his children, Erica DeLauter, and Kevin DeLauter; his mother, Mary Joan Smeltzer; siblings, Brad (Lu) DeLauter, Joey Smeltzer, Missy (Carlos) Ayub, Suzanne DeLauter, and Dana DeLauter. He is preceded in death by his father, David DeLauter.
