His Legacy… Robert David Armstrong, 78, passed away December 29, 2025. He was born on July 21, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Armstrong and Nellie (Swider) Armstrong. Bob married the love of his life, Susan O’Droski on September 28, 1968, in Dearborn, Michigan. Bob will be remembered as a teacher and coach, and an owner of LakeSide Saddlery. He loved his pontoon rides on the Huron River Chain of Lakes, his ability to travel, and his beloved Michigan Wolverines. He was a 4-H leader in Washtenaw County, a Life Member of the Plymouth-Ann Arbor Elks Lodge #325 and belonged to First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth for 42 years. His family and friends were of great importance in his life.

His Family… Bob will be missed by his wife, Susan Armstrong; his children, David Armstrong, Heather (Bill) Williams; grandchildren, Samantha Armstrong, Michael Armstrong, Kyle Armstrong, Ashley Williams; great- grandchildren, Manson Cranford and Angel Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nellie Armstrong.

His Farewell…Bob’s Community Farewell will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 11:00AM (10:00AM gathering), at Living Water Lutheran Church, Whitmore Lake, Michigan. Rev. Matt Canion will serve as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Little Victors Wagon Program at C.S.
