Robert Donald Barlage

His Legacy… Robert Donald Barlage, 74, passed away April 6, 2021.  He was born on October 1, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Barlage and Genevieve (Pennebaker) Barlage. Robert married the love of his life, Susan (Laczynski) Barlage, on April 19, 1969, in Dearborn, Michigan at St. Alphonsus Church. He is remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.  Robert is known for his unforgettable laughter, his smile that was contagious and his undeniable love for his family and zest for life.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Robert will be missed by his wife, Susan Barlage; his children, Rob (Jennifer Glance) Barlage, Andy (Corby) Barlage; siblings, Dave (Carol) Barlage, Barbara Manescu, Rick (Marcelle) Barlage; granddaughter, Brooke Barlage. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Genevieve Barlage.

His Farewell… Robert’s family and friends will gather Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 11:00am (10:00am gathering) for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10601 Dexter Pinckney Road, Pinckney, Michigan.  Father Dan Kogut will serve as celebrant.
