Adams, Robert
Newport, Michigan
His Legacy… Robert Lincoln Adams Jr. (Bubba), 63, passed away on March 2, 2026. He was born on October 25, 1962, in Lima, Ohio, to Robert Adams Sr. and Patricia (Chapman) Adams. Robert will be remembered for his dedication, resilience, and passion for the things that mattered most in life. Always prepared to lend a hand or face whatever came his way, he had a quick wit, and deep sense of patriotism. He was known for his strong work ethic with his lifelong career, spending 39 years as a tool and die specialist at Ford Motor company. Robert took great pride in his love for his country and the life he built around family, hard work, and the outdoors. He especially cherished time spent on the lake, where he enjoyed swimming, boating, and fishing. Robert was also an avid supporter of Michigan football and found joy in life’s quieter moments—watching birds, tending to his garden, his beloved cats, and cooking for those he cared about. In his earlier years during the winter months, he loved escaping to his cottage in Gaylord, where he embraced the beauty of northern Michigan and enjoyed snowmobiling and skiing through the snowy landscape.
His Family… Robert will be missed by his children, Robert (Alexa) Adams III, Hallé (Cory) DiMaria, Tricia (Kevin)Morris; siblings, Michele (Steven) Kimmet, Patricia Heffner, Erin Adams, Amy Adams (Rob Mickovic); grandchildren, Kevin, Roman, Domonic, Viviana, Savannah, Ariella; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. & Patricia Adams; brother-in-law, Terry Heffner.
His Farewell… Robert’s family and friends will gather 9:30 AM, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, with a Mass of Christian Burial taking place at 10:30AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Howell, Michigan. Father Gary Koenigsknecht will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Wounded Warriors.
