His Legacy… Robert Thomas Brown, 59, passed away after an extended illness on September 16, 2025. He was born on March 7, 1966, in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Woodrow Brown and Joan (Truesdell) Brown. Robert will be remembered as a tough and spirited man, with a love of the outdoors, reading, and his pets. Robert had two cats and many dogs throughout his life. Robert loved to fish, duck hunt, and go camping. Robert loved all Detroit sports, and had once played football and wrestled at Howell High School. Robert will be remembered as loveable, and funny by all those who knew him.
His Family… Robert will be missed by his partner Barbra Simmons; brothers, Mark (Jill) Brown, and Scott (Marianne) Brown; nieces and nephews, Meghan (Michael) Taylor, Mark (Mary) Brown, and Matthew (Katharine) Brown; and by three grandnieces and one grandnephew. He is preceded in death by his parents Woody and Joan Brown.
His Farewell… Robert’s family and friends will gather from Saturday October 4th 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel, 7425 M-36, Brighton, MI 48116 Hamburg, Michigan. His Community Farewell will be held after the friends and family gathering at 5:00 PM. Pastor Tom Snyder will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Association or Semper Fi & America’s Fund.
