Robert "Bob" Abfalter

His Legacy… Robert Edward Abfalter, 79, passed away September 11, 2023.  He was born on September 26, 1943, in Farmington, Michigan to Edward Abfalter and Matilda “Tilly” Marlette. He will be remembered as a hard working man with a great work ethic, spending 40 years in the pipefitter’s union.  Bob preferred to be with his family rather than friends and spent a great deal of time fishing with his family.  Bob was known for his sense of humor and liked to keep busy doing puzzles or building models when he was not on the lake fishing.

His Family… Bob will be missed by his children, Sherri Abfalter (Glen Wiggins), Bob (Laurie) Abfalter, Terry (Melissa) Abfalter, Rick (Tina) Abfalter; siblings, Alice Johnson, Carol Gassel; grandchildren Brittany, Alex, Cora, Halie, Seth, Madison, Chloe, Gavin, Glenie; great grandchildren Claire and Cleo; along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Abfalter; his parents, Edward and Tilly Abfalter; along with is sister, Joyce Roddy and brother, Tom Abfalter.

His Farewell… Bob’s family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 3:00-6:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan. His Community Farewell will follow the visitation at 6:00PM at the Howell Memorial Chapel.
