His Legacy… Ronald Raymond Bartek, 83, was welcomed home after many illnesses on February 15, 2020.  He was born on August 3, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan to Stanley Bartek and Mary (Sczygiel) Bartek. Ronald married the love of his life, Jan (Filipek) Bartek, on July 6, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan.   Ron was an Army Vet and retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years.  He was also a 20 year member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he participated in the Men’s Club and served as a Eucharistic Minister.  Ron enjoyed life and will be greatly missed.

His Family… Ronald will be missed by his wife, Jan Bartek; his children, Chris (Christine) Bartek, Carol (Kevin) Veik, and Mary Bartek; brother, Ted (Barbara) Bartek; grandchildren, Katie, Beth, Kevin, and Natasha; and many friends and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Mary Bartek; and his brother Ed Bartek.

His Farewell… Ronald’s Community Farewell will be held on February 20, 2020 at 11:00am (10:00am gathering) for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10601 Dexter Pinckney Road, Pinckney, Michigan . Father Dan Kogut will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church.
