Her Legacy… Sally Ann Wines, age 88, passed away March 10, 2023.  She was born on April 29, 1934, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Wade Hanshue and Josephine (Hoatlin) Hanshue.  Sally married her high school sweetheart, Richard Wines, on November 6, 1954 in Angola, Indiana.  Together they owned and launched several businesses, including Kamper’s Korner and Perfect Fit Construction.  She was a long-time resident of Dexter and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Sally will be remembered as a fun, creative, talented, kind, big-hearted, loving, and capable woman.  Her diverse abilities included golfing, bowling, and quilting.  She was an excellent cook, and an avid card player who brought fun and a smile to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.

Her Family…  Sally will be missed by her children, Jo Ellen (Thomas) Lloyd, Wade (Kimberly) Wines, and Wendy Wines; grandchildren Mike, Wade, Katie, Dan, Chad, Matthew, Jackie, and Jessica; great grandchildren Lillian, Jaxon, Lily, Finley, Garrett, Finn; many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard, her sons, Richard II and Mark Wines, and her parents, Wade and Josephine Hanshue.

Her Farewell… Sally’s family and friends will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 11:00am (10am gathering) at St. Joseph Catholic Village Church, 3430 Dover St. Dexter, Michigan 48130.  Father Brendan Walsh will serve as presider.  She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Dexter, Michigan.  Memorial contribution are suggested to Forgotten Harvest.  Please leave a message of comfort for Sally’s family at 1-877-231-7900, or sign her guestbook at www.borekjennings.com.
