Her Legacy… Sandra Kay Curry, 62, passed away May 25, 2026.  She was born on March 15, 1964, in Clarksville, Indiana to George and Judy Scholl. Sandy married the love of her life, Travis Curry, on October 13, 2007, in, Brighton, Michigan. Sandy spent her career as a massage therapist. She was incredibly kind and loved everyone. Sandy was a huge animal lover and would often volunteer in animal rescue. She frequently fostered dogs, even though many of them became “foster fails” and found their forever, loving homes with her. In her downtime Sandy enjoyed gardening, crocheting and crafting. Sandy will be remembered as a total sweetheart who was adored by her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Sandy will be missed by her husband, Travis Curry; her children, Megan (Jon) Buckley, Gregory (Monica) Strangway; mother, Judy Scholl; siblings, George Scholl, Billy (Sue) Scholl, Deanna (Chris) Thompson; grandchildren, Justin Buckley, Aaron Buckley; and numerous extended family. She is preceded in death by her father, George Scholl; and brother, Gary Scholl.

Her Farewell… Sandy’s family and friends will gather Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00PM-8:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Hamburg, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00AM (10AM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Hamburg, Michigan. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to K-9 Stray Rescue League in Oxford, Michigan.
