Her Legacy… Sandra “Sandi” Jean Loomis, 85, passed away November 23, 2025.  She was born on April 20, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan to Frank McNabb Senior. and Helen (Murray) McNabb. Sandi married the love of her life, Charles Loomis, on May 25, 1963. She will be remembered as a loyal family member and loving mother. Sandi was very involved in the activities of her loved ones, always trying to gather the most grandchildren and great-grandchildren in one place to see them all. Sandi was faithful to her commitment to the McNabb family reunion, started by her father Frank McNabb. Sandi loved going on shopping trips to the store, taking car rides, treating herself by getting her hair and nails done, raising dogs, and coloring in coloring books. Her life also involved some time in the Community United Church of Christ and the Order of the Eastern Star. Sandi will be loved and missed by all her family, and all those who knew her.

Her Family… Sandi will be missed by her children, Stephen (Cristina) Loomis, Andrew (Shiela) Loomis, Kathleen (Joseph Spano) Loomis; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Grace McNabb. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Loomis; parents, Frank and Helen McNabb Senior; and brother, Frank “Bud” McNabb Junior.

Her Farewell… Sandi’s Community Farewell will take place on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 6:00PM (4:00PM-6:00PM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, 7425 E. M-36, Hamburg, Michigan.
