Sarkis Aghababian, 96, passed away January 28, 2025. He was born on January 4, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan to Nishan Aghababian and Mary (Mouradian) Aghababian. Sarkis married the love of his life, Margaret Kenosian, on November 13, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan. They were married for 53 years before Margaret’s passing in 2006.
Sarkis is survived by his children, Aram Aghababian, Kris Aghababian, Steve (Barb) Aghababian, Phil (Valerie) Aghababian; grandchildren, Amity (Tim), Vanessa (Toby), Anya (Everett), Amy (Shea), Jessica (Will); great-grandchildren, Cayden, Benny, Raya, Nyla, Dylan, and Finn. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Aghababian; parents, Nishan and Mary Aghababian; brother, John (Ruth); and sister, Anna.
