Her Legacy… Shannon Rene Goudie, 53, a beloved mother, daughter and sister, passed away on September 22, 2025 to join her Lord and Savior. She was born on December 11, 1971 in Livonia, MI to Chester LaDow and Robin (Linville) LaDow. She will be remembered as a dynamic personality; the one who lit up a room as soon as she entered.

Shannon’s artistic soul and generous heart showed in the beautiful things she created. She poured herself into designing unique jewelry; crafting treasures that will be cherished by those she loved for years to come. Her photo books and boards wove together beautiful stories of shared memories; reflecting her deep love of those she held dear.

A gifted Prayer Warrior, Shannon’s faith was unwavering. She called upon the Hosts of Angels and Saints to intercede for the needs of others, offering beautiful prayers with boundless compassion. Known for her vibrant spirit, kind heart and unyielding passion in all she pursued, Shannon’s presence was a gift to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her.

Her Family… Shannon will be missed by her children, Savannah Goudie, Levi Goudie, Jacob Goudie; mother, Robin LaDow; significant other Kris Krzyzanski and his son Jordan; siblings, Matthew (Natalie) LaDow, Joshua LaDow; nephew, Aidan LaDow; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Chester LaDow; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Her Farewell… Shannon’s family and friends will gather Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Hamburg, Michigan. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 10:30 AM (9:30 AM gathering), at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Brighton, Michigan. Fr. Joshua Fons will serve as celebrant.
