Her Legacy… Sharlene Louise Lundy, 91, passed away May 29, 2025. She was born on August 10, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois to Stephen Nagy and Elizabeth (Goze) Nagy. Sharlene married the love of her life, Philip Lundy, on February 15, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. Sharlene was always there for those she loved. She had a close bond with her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, and rarely missed a sports game, graduation, or family event. Sharlene was also a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi, a women’s sorority that brought lasting friendships and connection throughout her adult life. She had a love for travel and cherished the opportunity to explore new places with friends and family. She will be missed deeply and remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Her Family… Sharlene will be missed by her children, Philip (Roni) Lundy, Laura (Mike) Modjeski; grandchildren, Kathryn (Nathaniel) Johnson, Griffin Modjeski, Jordan Modjeski; and many nieces and nephews.
