His Legacy… Shawn Patrick Chaney, 56, passed away February 11, 2025. He was born on September 18, 1968, in Marion, Indiana to Ronald Chaney Sr. and Cheryl (Peer) Chaney. Shawn married the love of his life, Tina Armstrong, on August 25, 1990, in Howell, Michigan. Shawn was the proud owner of Renovate Me, a remodeling business located in Pinckney that he built from the ground up 4 years ago. He was incredibly talented and could fix anything. Shawn was an avid hunter and fisherman, he would have fished every day if he could have. He was naturally funny and well known for his many one-liners; he loved to make people laugh. Shawn was always happy and he would do anything for anyone; he was very selfless. Shawn was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
His Family… Shawn will be missed by his wife, Tina Chaney; his children, Tiffany Ann (Jonathan) Batchelder, Breann Marie Chaney, Chase Patrick Chaney; father, Ronald (Mary) Chaney Sr.; mother, Cheryl Chaney; siblings, Ronald (Leah) Chaney Jr., and his son, Ronald “Bub” Chaney III; Kim (Paul) Taylor, and her son, Cory Chaney; step-siblings, Stephanie (Andy) Confer, Leeann Magnan, Erin (Dan) Presley and Kylee, Timmy, and Lily; grandchildren, Nicklas, Raelynn; and step-nieces and nephews, Harper, Deacon and Emmersyn.
