Sheila Grace Clegg

Her Legacy… Sheila Grace Clegg, 20, passed away February 17, 2021. She was born on June 29, 2000, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Kevin and Cindy (Tambe) Clegg. Sheila was known for her love of animals and nature.  She spent many summers and school breaks pet sitting, walking dogs, and caring for her favorite horse, Oscar.  Sheila completed two years at Grand Valley State University, where she was pursuing a degree in biology.  Her greatest recent accomplishment was working as an assistant manager at the new Dollar Tree in Dexter, Michigan.  Sheila will be remembered by those who knew and loved her for the joy and light she brought into their lives.  

Her Family… Sheila will be missed by her parents, Kevin and Cindy Clegg; siblings, Holly (Noah) Harper, Colin Clegg, Ryan Clegg; aunts, Jan Alward, Lynda Clegg, Sheila (Michel) Sourieau; cousins, Matt Alward, Adam Alward, Louis Sourieau, Alan Sourieau, Adrien (Aurélie) Sourieau; nephew, Oliver Clegg; grandparents, Alan and Rosemary Tambe. She is preceded in death by her Uncle Randy (Clegg), her grandparents, William and Betty Clegg, and her Uncle Dave (Alward).

Her Farewell… Sheila’s family and friends will gather on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 4:30-8:00pm (7:00pm scripture service) St. Joseph Catholic Country Church, 6805 Mast Road, Dexter, MI 48130. Her Community Farewell will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at (10:00am gathering) 11:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Country Church, 6805 Mast Road, Dexter, MI 48130. Father Brendan Walsh will serve as presider.
