Her Legacy… Sheila Ellen Lockard, 72, passed away on April 20, 2026. She was born on May 21, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to Warren Coleman and Jane (Kurish) Coleman. On July 6, 1985, Sheila married the love of her life, Lloyd Lockard, in Walled Lake, Michigan. Together they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family. Sheila will be remembered for her strong faith, as well as her loving, caring, and nurturing spirit. She had a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys and carried a quiet gratitude for the little things. She found happiness in playing bingo, dancing, going to the movies, and watching her favorite shows, including Wheel of Fortune and Hallmark movies. Sheila also cherished her trips to Kentucky, where she loved spending time with family.

Her Family… Sheila will be missed by her loving husband, Lloyd Lockard; her siblings, Gene Coleman, Dawn Coleman; sisters-in-law, Karen Hoffman, Sandy (Ryan) Adams, Linda Lockard; brother-in-law, David Lockard; niece, Lyndsay and nephew, Kevin; grandnephew, Ryker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Jane Coleman; siblings, Lucille Coleman, Jerry Coleman, Robin Coleman.

Her Farewell… Sheila’s family and friends will gather from 10:00-12:00 PM, until the time of her Community Farewell Service at 12:00 PM on, Monday, April 27, 2026 at Son Rise Church in Howell, Michigan. Pastor Jeff Blagg will serve as celebrant.
