His Legacy… Sheldon Edsel Hogan Jr., 82, passed away March 27, 2025.  He was born on December 24, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan to Sheldon Hogan and Esther (Spavin) Hogan. Sheldon married the love of his life, Sally Touzeau, on August 1, 1996, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sheldon proudly served his country in the National Guard. He spent his career with Ford Motor Company for 40 years. Sheldon had a passion for cars, he owned a 1930 Model A and a 2003 Thunderbird. He loved all genres of music and had an extensive record, CD, and cassette collection. When Sheldon married Sally in Las Vegas, he discovered that he really enjoyed gambling and would go to the casino often. Sheldon was very easy going and had a cheerful disposition. He loved people and seemed to know everyone; he loved to talk. Sheldon was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

His Family… Sheldon will be missed by his wife, Sally Hogan; his children, Colleen (Rob) Wright, Michael Hogan, Heather Chapel, Patrick Hogan; step-son, Ken (Maggie) Strine; sister, Gloria Kobos; and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sheldon and Esther Hogan.

His Farewell… Sheldon’s family and friends will gather Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 3:00PM-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Community Farewell will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 10:30AM (9:30AM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant.
