His Legacy… Steven Jay Agnew, age 73, passed away October 1st, 2025. He was born on August 24th, 1952 in Detroit, MI to James Agnew Sr. and Dorothy Agnew (Milosevich). He married Karen Monette on January 2nd, 1973 in Detroit, MI. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. He spent every day making jokes and caring for everyone around him. Steve touched everyone with his kindness, loyalty, thoughtfulness, goofiness and love. He left everyone with memories that will be cherished forever. Steve lived to make sure his friends and family were always happy and having fun. He will be remembered for being a jokester that could always make you laugh. Steve enjoyed spending time at the casino with his wife Karen and being outdoors. His favorite activities were hunting, fishing, boating, four wheeling, and driving his side by side. He was a jack of all trades who could fix anything and everything, always willing to lend a helping hand. He retired from Local 25 Ironworkers after many dedicated years. After retiring, he continued to make his family a priority and focused on making unforgettable memories. Steve will be extremely missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family… Steve will be missed by his wife, Karen; daughters, Heather (Terry) Moore and Heidi (Kurtis) Agnew; grandchildren, Taylor (Taylor), Mackenzie (Leah), Destany (Mike), Mason, Logan, Brook; and great grandchild, Marley. He is also survived by lots of nieces and nephews, in-laws, and endless friends. Steve is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clifford Lee Agnew.
