His Legacy… Steven William King, 79, passed away June 24, 2022. He was born on November 24, 1942, in Columbus, Wisconsin to William King and Josephine (Welk) King. Steve married the love of his life, Judy Eddy, on August 13, 1983, in Dearborn, Michigan. Steve spent his career at Ford Motor Company as an electrician, retiring in 2007 after 43 years. He enjoyed wildlife, hunting and fishing. In his younger years he enjoyed skydiving, until a skydiving accident caused him to lose his leg. In his retirement he enjoyed watching shows about dinosaurs, bigfoot and sharks. Most of all Steve adored his daughter and granddaughter, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family… Steve will be missed by his wife, Judy King; his daughter, Heather Jones; sister, Peggy Polak; granddaughter, Gabrielle Jones; brother-in-law, John (Linda) Eddy; sister-in-law, Martha (James) Wucka; and his very special next door neighbors of almost 31 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Josephine King.
His Farewell… Steve’s family and friends will gather Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 10:00AM-1:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel, Michigan. His memorial service will follow at 1:00PM. Reverend Bill Donahue will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Howell Nature Center or the American Diabetes Association.
