Her Legacy… Susan Marie Craib, 68, passed away July 10, 2026.  She was born on January 3, 1958, in Wayne County, Michigan to Louis Jackson and Martha (Froehlin) Jackson, and raised in Taylor, Michigan. Susan married the love of her life, John Craib, on August 10, 1985, at St. Cyril Catholic Church in Taylor, Michigan. Susan was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose kind, generous and friendly spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a big heart and a gift for making others feel welcome and she cherished the many friendships that she made throughout her life.  Susan was very creative and artistic and enjoyed crafting. She was a fabulous cook who loved hosting and bringing family and friends together for the holidays. She also found great joy in tending to her garden. Susan had a great love for brittany’s; Scout, Kobe, and Tucker were all beloved companions of hers through the years. and Susan was adored by her family and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Susan will be missed by her husband, John Craib; her son, Brett (Annie) Craib; siblings, Paul Jackson, Jeff Jackson, Greg Jackson, Matt Jackson, Annette Jackson, Michelle (John) Frost, Jennifer Luke; grandchildren, Elsie Craib, Miles Craib, Bowen Craib; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Martha Jackson.

Her Farewell… Susan’s family and friends will gather Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Hamburg, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 11:00AM (10:00AM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Hamburg, Michigan. Deacon Dave Piggott will serve as celebrant.
