Her Legacy… Terry Jean McEachren, 78, passed away June 10, 2026. She was born on December 7, 1947, in Dearborn, Michigan to Herbert Ruth and Edith (Southwood) Ruth. Terry married the love of her life, Timothy McEachren on April 29, 1967, in Dearborn, Michigan. She was called many things in life, a social butterfly, trooper, animal lover, and most of all: the sweetest thing. Terry valued her community; she shared her love with whoever needed it. She found one wherever she went: in her professional years managing Ford Lanes, she had the honor of watching customers grow up, making a lifelong impact on those she helped.
Terry practically raised her family at Camp Dearborn, making friends and playing cribbage and cards all summer. Once they moved Up North to Mio, they spent countless hours on the water and making memories with the children. Eventually, Terry and Timothy decided to sell their home Up North for their beloved 5th wheel. With this, the family would travel across the country, Terry sat fearlessly behind the wheel. True snowbirds, Terry and Tim enjoyed traveling to Florida and staying on Tracy and Steve’s property every winter for ten years.
Most of all, Terry is missed for the love and care that she showed to the world. She was blessed with a caregiver’s heart, and it was shown in her relationships with her husband, children, animals, and her wide circle of friends.
Her Family… Terry will be missed by her children, Tom (Melina) McEachren, Tracy (Steve) Anger, Trisha (Chris) Kosin; sister-in-law, Carol; grandchildren, Triana, Chad, Chloe, Sydney, Logan; many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her beloved second family at Taylor’s Beach Campground. She is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy; parents, Herbert & Edith; and her siblings, Betty, Wellington, Ronnie, and Richard.
Her Farewell… Family and friends will gather on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 11:00 to celebrate the lives of Terry and Tim at Connections Church in Canton, Michigan. Memorial contributions are suggested to Terry’s family for future designation. Please leave a message of comfort for Terry’s family at 1-877-231-7900, or sign her guestbook at www.borekjennings.com.
