Therman Clayton Cotton

His Legacy…Therman Clayton Cotton, 83, passed away September 3, 2022.  He was born on February 18, 1939, in Barbourville, Kentucky to Harvey Cotton and Mattie (Messer) Cotton. Therman married the love of his life, Anna Odom Cotton, on December 26, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri. Therman was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He was always making jokes and loved playing poker with his friends, and could get a bit feisty when the cards did not go as he wanted. Therman enjoyed bowling with his wife Anna. Therman absolutely adored his grandchildren, they were his entire world. He often took them fishing and to their property up north, it was his favorite place to be with them. Therman was a joy to know and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Therman will be missed by his wife, Anna Cotton; his son, Dennis (Julie) Cotton; siblings, Sallie (Gene) Elliott, Thomas Cotton; grandchildren, Kyle Cotton, Alex Cotton, and Brayden Cotton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mattie Cotton; son, Therman Cotton Jr., and brother, Donald “Skip”Cotton.

His Farewell… Therman’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11am at Chilson Hills Church with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 10am.
