Legacy… Georgia Ann DeNoyer, 72, passed away September 21, 2020. She was born on July 17, 1948, in Trenton, Michigan to Lloyd George Robertson and Vera Eunice (Lawrence) Robertson. Georgia married the love of her life, Thomas DeNoyer. Thomas was born on July 4, 1945 in Lake Leelanau, Michigan and recently passed on April 16, 2020. The two of them married on September 7, 1968, in Inkster, Michigan and were married for 51 years. They will be remembered as a beautiful couple. Thomas and Georgia were very devoted Catholics and were part of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Brighton, Michigan. Thomas was a Fourth Degree member of Knights of Columbus and was very proud of that. He also enjoyed playing cards, going up north to visit friends and family and watching Tigers baseball. Georgia enjoyed sewing, playing instruments and teaching nursing. They both loved to be with each other and being active in their church. They will be missed by everyone they touched.
Family… Georgia and Thomas will be missed by their son, Matthew (Shawna) DeNoyer; siblings, Linda (Robert) Birch, Ronald (Mary) Robertson, Patricia Mosher, Cletus (Ann) DeNoyer; grandchildren, Madison and Dominic DeNoyer and many nieces and nephews. They are preceded in death by their parents, Lloyd and Vera Robertson, Esther and Lewis DeNoyer along with many siblings.
Farewell… Georgia and Thomas’s family and friends will gather Friday, September 25, 2020 at 1:00pm (12:15pm gathering) for a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Brighton, Michigan. Father John Rocus will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to research at University of Michigan Hospital.
