Todd Alan Widener, 54, passed away on January 28, 2026. He was born on December 11, 1971, in Lincoln Park, Michigan, to Terry and Nancy (Dietz) Widener.
Todd was a hardworking man who took pride in everything he did. Outside of work, he enjoyed sports—especially Michigan football and basketball—and rarely missed a game. He loved spending his free time outdoors, particularly on the boat, where he felt most at peace.
Todd had a great sense of humor and a natural ability to make people laugh. He was the kind of man who showed up when someone needed help, never hesitating to lend a hand. A loyal friend to many and deeply devoted to his family, Todd left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His presence, laughter, and steady support will be greatly missed.
Todd is survived by his parents, Terry and Nancy (Dietz) Widener; his fiancée, Melissa Crowley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, friends, and customers whose lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Widener Day; his grandparents, Roy and Marjorie Dietz; and his grandmother, Shirley Widener.
A celebration of life will be held this spring, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember Todd. Details will be shared at a later date.
