His Legacy… Troy Mitchell Vance, age 61, passed away July 14, 2025, surrounded by his wife & family following a long and courageous battle with cancer. He refused almost to the end, to allow his illness to prevent his love of his craft. Troy was an extremely talented artisan, his love and skill of hardwood flooring restoration, repair and instillation was more art than craft. Troy’s constantly present sense of humor & caring nature will be missed by all who knew him.
His Family… Troy was born June 3, 1964 to Thomas S. & Frances N. Vance. He is survived by his loving wife Tibbie (Ida) Vance; children, Shawn and Jenifer Darnell, Mark R., Michael R., Matthew R., Stephanie, Shawn and Brittany Anderson; five grandchildren; siblings, Ty R. Vance, Terrance W. & Leah Vance, Craig & Tracy Lilley; and his father, Thomas S. Vance.
