Her Legacy… Viola Clara Walton, 95, passed away May 09, 2025. She was born on March 18, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan to Linus and Clara (Kruttli) Rihm. Viola married the love of her life, Douglas Walton. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, gardening, and golfing. She had a deep love for dogs, having owned many throughout her lifetime. Viola cherished her friends and family deeply; all who knew her will miss her dearly.
Her Family… Viola will be missed by her nephews, Larry (Dana) Kinney and Frank Kinney; niece, Darlene (Deck) Mowatt; great-nephews, Douglas (Elizabeth) Kinney, Andrew Kinney, Robert Kinney, John Kinney, Ryan Kinney, Jason (Stephanie) Mowatt, and Brandon (Marie) Mowatt; great nieces, Mary (Derrick) Sullivan and Evelyn Kinney. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Douglas Walton; her parents, Linus, and Clara Rihm; sister, Evelyn Kinney; nephews, Wayne Kinney and Robert Kinney.
