Her Legacy… Wadad Y. Najjar, age 91, passed away May 4, 2023. She was born on January 15, 1932, in Haifa, Palestine to Kaiser Suidan and Rose (Deer) Suidan. Wadad later relocated to Lebanon, where she married the love of her life, Yacoub Najjar, in January of 1956. She was a life-long, devout Catholic. Wadad was a sweet, peaceful person and a calming presence to those around her. She was also very spunky, independent, strong-willed, and loving. She loved her family, and everyone loved her in return. She will be greatly missed.
Her Family… Wadad will be missed by her children, Dana (George) Tabry and Walid (Mary) Najjar; 7 grandchildren; 19 nieces and nephews, and many other family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Yacoub, her son, Elias, 7 siblings, and her parents, Kaiser and Rose Suidan.
Her Farewell… Wadad’s family and friends will gather on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Brighton, Michigan until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am.
