His Legacy… William Patrick Curtis, 78, passed away April 11, 2022.  He was born on March 17, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan to John “Kerutis” Curtis and Helen (Snares) Curtis. William married the love of his life, Charlette Guntensperger, on May 27, 1967, in Detroit, Michigan. William will be remembered as a man of faith whose love for God and his family was very strong. He was a great storyteller and had a wonderful sense of humor. He coached baseball for many years, he loved sports and the Detroit Tigers. William was a great host, had many friends and could talk to anybody. He enjoyed golf, music and movies. Most of all William was an amazing, husband, father and grandfather and he positively impacted so many lives.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… William will be missed by his wife, Charlette Curtis; his children, Robert (Sandy) Curtis, Kelly (Gordy) Cronk, David (Krista) Curtis, James (Amy) Curtis, Beth (Reed) Sather; sisters, Johanna (Earl) Thomas, Barbara Curtis; grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan, Madeleine, Joseph, Mitchell, Adam, Kylene, Kassandra, Axel, Hawkin and Adelyte. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Curtis; and sister, Donna Stampfler.

His Farewell… William’s family and friends will gather on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 4 to 8PM with a Rosary at 6PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel, Michigan. His Community Farewell will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 with an 11AM (10AM Gathering) Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 9565 Musch Rd. Brighton, MI. Fr.
