His Legacy…William Carl Birchmeier, 77, passed away January 18, 2023.  He was born on June 4, 1945, in Dexter, Michigan to Marcellus Birchmeier and Loretta (Johnson) Birchmeier. Bill married the love of his life, Janet Cosgray, on March 22, 1968, in Howell, Michigan. Bill was a wonderful family man who adored his wife, Janet, he would do anything for her. 

Bill and Janet enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions together. They loved entertaining in their home and Bill loved to dance. He was a carpenter by trade, but a farmer at heart. Bill was a faithful Christian with a great love for the Lord.

He loved being outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting and was a serious U of M Football fan. Bill loved having fun with his grandchildren and took them to 4-H fairs, carnivals and playing with go-carts. He always had a great and entertaining story to tell.  Bill was deeply loved by his family and will be dearly missed. 

His Family… Bill will be missed by his wife, Janet Birchmeier; his children, Rick (Sherry) Birchmeier, Bill (Christi) Birchmeier Jr.; Siblings, Joe Birchmeier, Joyce Carpenter, Rosemary Koch, David (Jean) Birchmeier, Edward (Leslie) Birchmeier;

Grandchildren, Zachary Birchmeier, Corey Birchmeier, Garit (Jessica) Birchmeier, Jordyn (Cody) Birchmeier, Alisha Birchmeier, Alina Birchmeier, Nicholas, Jason (Ashley), Jennifer (Chris), Lydia (Nick), Scott, and Laura;

Great grandchildren, McKenzie, Oliver and Parker.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcellus and Loretta Birchmeier; and brothers, Michael Birchmeier, Louis Birchmeier, and Peter Birchmeier. 

His Farewell… Bill's family and friends will gather on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home-250 N Mill Street, Pinckney. His Community Farewell will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 11:00AM (10AM gathering) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home-Pinckney. 

Pastor Adam Summers will serve as celebrant. Interment following service at the Pinckney cemetery.
