Willodene "Willie" Sunday Obituary

Her Legacy… Willodene "Willie" Sunday, age 80, passed away October 27, 2020. She was born on October 11, 1940, in Piso, Kentucky to Ollie James and Ethel (Moore) Maynard. Willodene married Marvin Sunday on November 22, 1975 in Roseville, MI. She enjoyed talking on the phone, music, especially Bob Marley, jewelry, shoes, makeup, and cooking. Most of all, Willodene loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family and Friends… Willodene leaves behind her husband, Marv; children, Sherry (Bob) Mack, Terry Ray, Daryl (Amy) Sunday, Noel (Ida) Sunday; grandchildren, Brittani, Chelsea, Leah, Kyle; and great grandson, TJ. She is also survived by siblings, Jimmy Jr. and Paul. She is preceded in death by siblings, Justine and Floyd B.

Her Farewell… Willodene’s Community Farewell will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 1PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel with a gathering beginning at 11AM until the time of service. Pastor Randy Weaks will serve as celebrant.
